Creating new Adobe IDin ADE

I read on a forum that if I held down Control > Shift > D, that a dialogue box would open in ADE on the Library page and I could deauthorise the computer and set up a new ID. This does not work on my Mac (OSX 10.8.5). I need to do this in order to get the same Adobe ID on my computer, in ADE, and on my Kobo mini reader. If anyone can tell me how to achieve this I'd be very grateful!
