I have a library on my desktop. I installed adobe digital editions and authorized it on my new acer chromebook, but the library doesn't fill.
Does it work on chromebook? And if so, how can I retrieve my books?
I would like to use a few triangles or arrow symbols in an ebook I am creating. But most that I try do not display when reading the ebook in adobe digital editions.
I've tried different fonts. Using monospace displays a couple that don't show otherwise.
Does anyone have any font / css tips or know of a list of such symbols that do display in Digital Editions?
I used ADE 2.0 for a long time and downloaded from there to my Kobo reader. I recently purchased a new laptop and downloaded ADE latest version and wanted to start using this laptop and new version instead. I downloaded some books from the library as I normally do, and then tried to copy to my Kobo reader. I could not copy to my Kobo and received an error message CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED - No permission to copy the book.
I also didn't know whether I should authorize my computer. I tried, but I cannot because it tells me my email address already exists and is being used.
I am frustrated. Please help.
It seems there's an underlying conflict with MS OS and Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.9., i.e., Windows seems to disregard the ADE.exe file after upgrading to ADE 4.5.9., as it won't display it as an available application in the File Association window even though it lists it in the Default Apps list. There's loads of traffic on the internet about this and nobody seems to have found a solution yet - Adobe are markedly silent on this topic! But I discovered a workround that worked for me and I thought I'd share it to see others find it helpful. Note: I'm using Windows 10, so can't comment on whether this work round will work on other Window versions.

I bought a new laptop. I downloaded Adobe Digital Editions. I authorized the computer by signing in with my Adobe ID, but none of my books have been transferred. Can anyone please advise how do I retrieve my books.

I have installed ADE version 4.5.7 in my PC with the following spec:

I was able to click on the invisible top tab however tried opening any book, it will just show blank.

Tried to uninstall, restart the PC and reinstall, repeat the step but using the ADE version 3.0 installation issue still persisted.
I have read somewhere in the forum to rename Documents\My Digital Editions filename upon executing the application and it did not work either.
Anyone encountered this issue can kindly advise me?

Good night guys. I need to know what kind of license the adobe reader software is. And where do I find that.
A couple of years ago, i purchased an ebook from a webstore. I downloaded it and get it to my new Adobe Digital Editions account. Sync it in my laptop and mobile. I stopped use it for a while, change laptops, mobiles and everyhing. Today, I am purchasing another two ebooks from the same webstore. Recovered my old ADE account, download all my ebooks from the webstore (the old one and the two new ones) and try to get those to my library. My problem is that I have no problem with the new ones, but can´t load the old e book. When I try to load it to my library I have this message error:

So, I tried login with all another e mails i got (thinking that may be I loaded the old ebook with a different login credentials) HAve no reset e mail. But the most annoying thing, is that I actually have the ebook file, since I can get it from my ebook webstore account (they keep it safe for me). But when I tried to load it, get the error message.
Please help, is a very expensive ebook from my property, and I am pretty sure I didn´t use any other ID credentials when I first get it

I'm using a German ADE version installed on my desktop computer via a download from the German library I use.
Initially I was able to use ADE to download and read e-books from the library, but now I get an error message telling me that I need to reauthorize ADE via "help" -> "reauthorize". However, the option "reauthorize" is not activated.
Help pages tell me I first need to deauthorize - but there is no deauthorization option.
Does anyone have an idea? I had this problem earlier, but our librarians were not very helpful either.
By the way - I'm highly annoyed - my library pays for books that are not actually available to me. And I now need to invest time and ask for the kindness of strangers to spare their time for this issue ...
I am having problems with my adobe digital editions application. I have uploaded a textbook onto the application before and now everything I have uploaded to it including my other articles is all gone. I had paid for a subscription of this textbook and it should be valid for another 3 months. Could you please help me recover my files?
Greetings, I downloaded AE yesterday along with an ebook (*.acms) and subscribed.
The ebook came with a single print permission. When printed, the document was clipped at the bottom of every page.
Can the community or Adobe assist in rectifying this clipping issue please?
Is it possible to get my print permission back for another print please?

oh habe nicht gesehen, dass es hier weitergeht. also wenn ich jetzt ein download in der onleihe bücherei mache bekomme ich einen kasten angezeigt, da steht irgendwas von wordpad und einen für mich unleserlichen text. die runtergeladenen bücher von windows 8.1 kann ich noch lesen, aber was neues kann ich nicht runterladen. aus o.g. grund. kann bitte jemand helfen. ich bin lese süchtig. das macht mich wahnsinnig wenn ich nichts lesen kann. danke. patty.

Klappt aber nur für einen Einzigen.

when working on photoshop i have noticed that when I flatten the layers the images becomes all black and the same happens when I try to save the images as jpeg file, I don't know what is the problem, I have installed the latest version but ever since I did it the program has not been working well like with the previous version, I would appreciate your help!
