Hi - I'm having trouble copying text from an eBook. When I first opened Digital Editions I could highlight and copy parts of the text, but then it stopped on about the 5th page. Now the "copy" button is greyed out and the Ctrl C function doesn't work either. I tried rebooting my computer but it didn't help. I'm using the copy function to take some study notes as this is one of my prescribed texts. Any thoughts?

I can only see half of the page and there is no area to scroll down only across.

Adobe Digital Editions is a little clunky, compared to Aldiko, for instance, which I use on my Android tablet. Does anyone recommend an e-book (epub and pdf) reader for Windows 8.1 that works with DRM protected books, in other words, books I purchase, as opposed to just free books?

Downloaded ADE and authorized computer. Downloaded my library books from library site. Connected my reader then opened ADE. According to the tutorial it should show a split screen with the device on the left and all I have to do is authorize it and then drag and drop the books into it. Unfortunately the split screen shows the books on one side but no reader or even a place that says 'device'. It just shows the last read book and the bookshelves. What am I doing wrong and is there a fix so I can start using my reader again? Kobo says they are working on the problem but have no idea how long it will take, so ADE is supposed to pick up the slack until the fix. Right now I have nothing.

I am working with some ebooks and want to add code so they can be rented for a specific period. I was told that the application "Content Server" would allow me to do that. Help/counsel will be appreciated.

I have downloaded and installed adobe digital edition 3 in my windows 8 laptop. But it fails to open. I get an error message saying "adobe digital edition has stopped working. A problem caused the problem to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available". I have downloaded the set up file from the adobe site from the link http://download.adobe.com/pub/adobe/digitaleditions/ADE_3.0_Installer.exe. Can anyone help. I have bought online books and I am unable to read them unless this is installed.

How do i change the display in ADE to a single page view instead of two pages side by side? I find it distracting and prefer to look at one page at a time.

so as to be able to read my adobe digital editions ebooks.Do

I have to authorize each ebook I want to read or with the second

pc authorized would they be automatically readable?

My other question is do I have to always have an internet connection

to read the ebooks. I only ask because the second pc does not have

internet. And I'll be bringing the second pc to wher I can get it authorized

with an internet connection.

I want to know if is possible prevent "print screen" of digital publishing in tablet?

I am trying to scroll on the pages so I can see all of the graphics/text; however I am unable to do that.

I also read that you cannot resize a document in Adobe Digital Editions.

If I cannot scroll to see all the graphics/text and I cannot resize the PDF does it pretty much make eBooks worthless since I can't change the settings to see everything?

Any thoughts or suggestions, besides putting this on a 40 inch monitor?
