I have 4 books purchased many many years back and the computer I initially had them on long ago died as a XP machine.
I can not access any of the 4 that were purchased and Adobe Digital Editions refuses to open and Acrobat will not open indicating DRM issues.
How can I have this fixed????

Hi! I have Sony Reader PRS-505.
Can I transfer DRM books from ADE to Sony?
As I see in the permuted list, there are PRS-500 is allowed.
But When I plug my Sony to iMac and than opened ADE I do not see it in ADE, I am authorized via Adobe ID.
I have uninstalled and installed ADE, but this didn't change the situation.
Earlier today I was able to use it without any issues, so not sure what is going on.
Any suggestions are welcome!

I've been using ADE for years. Of a sudden, when I changed computers, I can't use it. Downloads from vendors (in this case Kobo) won't work, and I can't activate ADE on my current computer.
I have uninstalled and installed repeatedly, turned off Windows Firewall, wiped parts of the Registry (Adept folder) as instructed, seen there are no active or failed tasks, etc.
Still, I get the "can't contact server" error message.
This is becoming extremely irritating, and I'd like some help solving.

I can't activate Digital Editions. At first I thought it was my computer but after scraping the session it seems that adeactivate.wip4.adobe.com is not up, thus activation fails. Anyone know if there is a working server at another url?

I tried the customer service number. It was a third party vendor and they gave me a direct number for ADOBE which was no longer valid in my area. This was abt $95. with tax.
ADE 2 & ADE 3.0 do not support my Sony PRS-T2 Reader, although the PRS-T1 is supported. Will this be rectified by Adobe?
