When I drop the book from ADE to my ereader, the Error is E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS. I have only tried to activate this book once. I tried with another book and get the same error.

Arrow keys will not change page in ade
I can change the page by clicking the arrow on the bottom of the page but the arrow key on keyboard will not change the page. Any solution??

Adobe Digital Editions 3 touch interface support for Windows 8?
Does anyone now of a way to enable touch/swipe/gestures in Adobe Digital Editions on windows 8? Trying to use the epub (horiztonal) or PDF (vertical) scroll bars is very frustrating on a 300+ page text. The target areas are just too small. I'd love to be able to just swipe to turn the page, but I'd settle for being able to just have larger next/previous page buttons, or even touchable areas, like at the edge of the reading area in a lot of e-readers and e-reader emulation PC software out there. Right now, with the default settings, trying to use Adobe Digital Editions on a windows 8 tablet is a miserable experience. I hope I'm just missing a configuration or settings option somewhere that will improve it (but I fear the just didn't consider touch at all when making ADE 3).

Nook message is "user not authorized." Why?
Upgraded to ADE 3.0 and authorized computer. Can transfer epub books from the library to Nook Simple Touch, but cannot open them. Message on the Nook says "user not authorized." Did not have this problem on previous version of ADE. Any suggestions?

books wont drag to nook, error states no permission to copy book. This is a new loading of nook and ADE to this computer and my be that licenses need to be updated per B
Old computer crashed. Trying to set up ADE on this old PC with XP. I have ADE loaded and books will download from library and I can read them. They won't drag to nook. Get error of No permission to copy book. I have looked at user guide and checked the forums but all state the books should drag and drop into nook. Unsure what protocol is when they won't. I spoke to Adobe help and he told me they no longer support ADE and referred to forum. Barnes and Noble walked me through deleting the program on the nook but same message appeared. They thought it a license problem and referred to ADOBE customer support. So, this is my last line of assistance...............

linking nook to laptop to open library books on both devices
I originally could download and open library books either on my laptop or my nook. I had accidentally uninstalled ADE from my laptop. when i reinstalled it, It asked if I wanted my downloaded content reloaded. I said yes. Now, tho', I can only open a book from a library EITHER on the nook OR the laptop. It will not let me open both places like before. B&N techs told me it's not their problem. Does anyone know how to get the nook and laptop on the same page again?

Can;t download library EPub; message says Adobe XI does not support file or file is corrupted.
I have no trouble reading in my browser, but not all library titles are available this way. I have downloaded Digital Editions, but there is nothing in the library. I have never before gotten a message about Adobe Reader; I had no trouble on my old computer with XP, but on my new one with Windows 8, I can't get Digital Editions to work.

Can't open reader from the icon?
The icon is constantly dark as if updating and the word waiting underneath. I've turned iPad off and back on to try to reset but it continues the same. I've tried to delete the app to reload it but it won't delete either. I went to my purchased apps and found I can open the reader from the open button. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

How to count units for drm
I have several apps for reading e-books on my phone; will adobe count each app I use to read one single book with as one unit, so that for example if I have permission to download to three units, those three units would be considered as used up even if it is only three different e-book readers on the same phone?How to count units for drm

FONTS SUBSTITUTING!
Hello!
I am working on a project for a client. It's in InDesign, DPS. She has supplied me with all the fonts. I've installed them and when I design the pages everything looks as it should. When I send her the InDesign files back, the fonts are substituting and she needs to adjust the layouts slightly.
I need to avoid this and find out why it's happening!
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Running ADE 3.0 on Mac. Can't open book in library, previously opened—now I get

Authorization info in ADE brings up old email address.
ADE won't recognize my Nook Color. Authorization information still has an old email address associated with it, but I have an Adobe account with the correct email address. I have uninstalled and reinstalled ADE with the right email address, but the old one still comes up under the Authorization info.

Authorization failure with Overdrive app
I have a Microsoft Surface tablet running Windows RT. I downloaded the Overdrive app and tried to authorize it with my Adobe ID. However, everytime I try to do so I get the following error message:
Your ID and/or password are incorrect. If this is a new Adobe ID, please try again in a few minutes. If the problem persists, please visit Adobe's website to verify your credentials or create a new ID. (authorization failure: cus05051)
I'm not sure what the exact issue is. My ID and password are both correct. I wonder if I have too many devices authorized. I had another tablet with the Overdrive app on it. However, it was stolen. I also have a smartphone with the app that was authorized as well as an old smartphone with the app that I gave away to someone else.

Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_ACT_NOT_READY mac os X, account IS activated
This is extremely frustrating! Trying to get a library book onto a Nook and having no luck. I dislike the Adobe approach of requiring a login to this site in order to search the forums.
There are multiple posts on this issue and NONE are answered.
My next e-reader will be another Kindle because of the difficulties Adobe E editions is causing.
Please address these questions Adobe staff.
